Pina Colada

You can’t get any more tropical than the Piña Colada, a cocktail that encapsulates the fruity flavours of the Caribbean and evokes thoughts of swaying palm trees and glorious sunsets. The original recipe, a blend of rum, coconut cream and pineapple juice, was supposedly pioneered by a Puerto Rican sailor in the 19th century. While the original Piña Colada recipe was unfortunately lost at sea, the cocktail was reinvented in the 1950s and is now served up in bars and hotels across the globe.

If you’re wondering how to make a Piña Colada, then of course the Captain has you covered. Our version features Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum to add delicious spice. Mini umbrellas optional.

For an even creamier Piña Colada cocktail, add in a dollop of double cream. Chill your glass beforehand to make sure your cocktail is extra cool.
