Planter's Punch

Planter’s Punch is full of the tastes of the New World thanks to its mix of rum, citrus and sugar syrup. Thoughts on its origins are split, with many believing it was invented at the Planter’s Hotel in Charleston, North Carolina, while others claim it was first served to plantation workers in Jamaica.

It shouldn’t be surprising that a bounty as mouth-watering as Planter’s Punch has been coveted by the Captain. He’s made his own Planter’s Punch recipe with some Captain Morgan White Rum and a measure of Captain Morgan Dark Rum.

Stir up a simple syrup for your punch by heating equal parts sugar and water until dissolved. For a colourful gradient effect in your rum punch, add the grenadine last once everything else has been mixed.
