Ed Callahan has been an Eagles fan since 1954, transforming his passion for the team and the city into the beloved EagleMobile tailgate—a once-small gathering that has become one of Philadelphia’s most recognized game-day traditions, open to locals, visitors, and even police officers, and known for great food, hospitality, and infectious energy. A disabled veteran and retired Naval Officer with 28 years of service, Ed has long centered his life around giving back through organizations like the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and St. Matthew’s Parish. Since co-captaining the Season Ticket Member fundraising team for the Eagles Autism Challenge in 2019, his team has raised over $400,000, with Ed personally contributing more than $200,000, including $70,000 in 2025 alone. Donating all food and drinks at every home game and asking only that guests support the cause, Ed has built a tradition rooted in generosity, community, and pride—showing that being an Eagles fan is not just about football, but about heart, service, and making a difference.
