If there's one drink that sums up the Jamaican Spirit, it's this fiery party classic. The Captain’s version combines Dark Rum and ginger ale instead of ginger beer for a fizzier but no less tasty treat.

A lip-smacking yet simple rum cocktail, you’ll really taste the spice of Caribbean life when you fill up your goblet with our refreshing Captain’s Storm. It’s best enjoyed with a view of the ocean.

Our recipe uses our classic Dark Rum, but why not try it with Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum for a sweet spicy twist? When mixing, remember it’s always 3 parts ginger to 1 part spirit.

What you'll need

For one serving

  • 1.5 ozCaptain Morgan Dark Rum
  • 5 ozGinger ale
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 GlassfulIce cubes

Method

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.

  2. Pour in the Captain Morgan Dark Rum and 5oz of your favourite ginger ale.

  3. Stir well and garnish with a wedge of lime.
